The Card Game Lobby
Why Filipino Players Love Card Games at pub771
Card games are the heart of casino culture in the Philippines. From the mahjong tables in family gatherings to the baccarat floors of Clark and Entertainment City, Filipinos have always had a deep connection with card and tile games. At pub771, we built our card game lobby with that culture in mind.
The selection covers the full range — from the ultra-fast Dragon Tiger that many players enjoy for its simplicity, to the strategy-rich world of Blackjack where your decisions genuinely affect the outcome. Baccarat gets special treatment at pub771, with multiple live tables, squeeze variants, and speed formats catering to both casual bettors and high rollers.
All live dealer tables are streamed in HD from certified studios and operated by professional dealers. The minimum bets are designed to be inclusive — you can sit at a baccarat table with as little as ₱50, or head to a VIP table if you prefer higher stakes. Every real-money hand you play also earns pub771 Loyalty Points toward your VIP tier.

Deep Dive
Understanding Card Games at pub771 — A Player's Perspective
Baccarat is the game that most Filipino online casino players gravitate toward, and it's not hard to understand why. The rules are straightforward — you pick Banker, Player, or Tie, and the cards decide the rest. There's no strategy to memorize, no decisions to make mid-hand. You watch, you wait, and you hope the natural comes your way. At pub771, baccarat gets the widest selection of any card game — three live formats, multiple tables running simultaneously, and bet limits that cover everything from a ₱50 casual player to a ₱500,000 high roller.
Blackjack is the card game for players who want more control. With the right basic strategy, you can bring the house edge down to under 0.5% — one of the lowest in any casino game. The key decisions — hit, stand, double down, split — happen on every hand, and making the right call consistently really does change your long-term results. pub771's Classic Blackjack uses a 6-deck shoe and follows standard casino rules including surrender and late double options. The RNG version is great for practice; the live dealer tables add the social element.
Dragon Tiger sits at the opposite end of the strategy spectrum. One card each, highest wins. That's literally it. The appeal is speed and simplicity — rounds resolve in seconds, and there's no decision to agonize over. Filipino players who grew up playing pusoy or tong-its often find Dragon Tiger a comfortable online entry point because the card comparison mechanic feels familiar.
Across all these games, pub771 ensures a consistent experience — fast loading, stable live streams, and bet limits that are clearly displayed before you sit down. The mobile interface is optimized for Android and iOS, and every hand you play earns Loyalty Points toward your VIP tier. If you're a regular card game player, those points add up quickly and the cashback at Silver tier and above can meaningfully offset your session variance over time.
Play Smarter
Basic Blackjack Strategy for pub771 Players
These fundamental decisions apply to the standard 6-deck blackjack game at pub771. Follow them consistently and you'll be playing near-optimal strategy.
Always Stand on 17+
Hard 17 or above — no matter what the dealer shows. Taking a hit on 17 increases your bust probability significantly. Stand and let the dealer take the risk.
Double Down on 11 (Almost Always)
A hand of 11 is your best doubling opportunity. Double down against all dealer upcards except an Ace. You have the highest probability of making a 21 or 20 on the next card.
Always Split Aces and Eights
A pair of Aces gives you two chances at a 21. A pair of Eights (16) is the worst hand in blackjack — split them to turn a bad hand into two salvageable ones.
Never Split Tens
A pair of Tens is a 20 — one of the best hands you can have. Splitting it is a mistake almost every time. Keep it, stand, and take the near-certain win.
Hit Soft 17 Against Strong Dealer Cards
Soft 17 (Ace + 6) against a dealer showing 9, 10, or Ace — hit or double if allowed. The Ace's flexibility means you can't bust on a hit, so taking the risk is correct here.
